"Gave a 4 star on cleanliness because we found 3 larger sizes (dime sized) spiders in our room. Everything else was great. Buffet was good and staff was friendly."

"This is a golf resort that has hotel rooms. It is in a very pretty area but It is located in the countryside and not really close to anything so if you are staying there for any other reason besides what is at the property than I might choose some where else. The rooms are very large but the furniture and furnishings are dated. my blinds were broken and do not keep the daylight out. The tavern is good for pub food. Very large parking lot. "

"Everything was good but nothing exceeded expectations. There is room.for improvement, we did hit a few small snags but we made it work and Gil seemed pretty nice. The set up of the farm house was fine although the pictures do make spaces look much bigger than they are in person. We had some issues with the code to get in but fortunately Gils brother was near by to help. The cleanliness is my biggeat reason for not giving 5 stars. The kitchen and bathrooms looked like they had been cleaned but the rugs, throw pillows and throw blankets all looked grungy and like they may not have ever been cleaned. We also didn't have an adequate number of pillows and not all of the pillows provided had cases. The pillow covers also looked dirty as if people have been using them without a pillow case. I looked for extra linens and didn't find any. There also wasn't any detergent to wash towels and the number of towels provided wasn't quite enough to go around. The last thing I want to mention is that the bedroom closets were all just wide open and aren't really set up for use. We were getting ready for a big family wedding and having an appropriate place to hang our clothing would have been helpful. I still gave 4 stars because none of these minor issues were bad enough to receive a 3 star rating but some weren't quite a 4 either. Overall it was fine. I think with a few small changes/improvements it could be a 4 stay. I would recommend but would also manage expectations."

"Elsio , our host, was responsive and friendly . Our requests were handled quickly and perfectly. We would highly recommend this rental and the space looked like the photos provided.This rental is a second floor apartment in a historic (late 1800’s) house that has been converted into rental units. The apartment was sparkling clean, and the bedrooms were quite large. We stayed in winter, so we didn’t use the outdoor facilities. The stairs to the apartment are indoors (which was fantastic when the weather turned snowy.)Our favorite space was the dining room in the morning. It was bright and filled with the morning light . It was the perfect place to enjoy our morning cup of tea. BTW an electric kettle in the kitchen made it a snap to make our tea.Our group found both beds comfortable and each bedroom as well as the living room had large tv’s installed. It seems the decor is a minimalistic look, so there are not a lot of comfort or extra items around the apartment for guest use (eg:condiments, spices or extra cooking ingredients like oil or flour & sugar, or oven/baking pans, mixing bowls, k-cups for the coffee maker, shampoo, and tissues were not provided, so bring your own extras to make your stay comfortable. A 4 piece place setting (except only 3 mugs) of tableware and flatware is provided. "

"The rental worked out well for us and our dog. Quiet building with easy parking. We weren’t cooking so the kitchen amenities were fine. Gil was a great host with great communication. Made coming and going for a family wedding 20 minutes away convenient. "

"stay was very comfortable had good access to area. stay was 6 days and we had a couple of minor issues that Gil took care of ASAP. I would give it a 5 star but there a extreme bad oidor in fridge that made our food taste and smelll bad. i felt this odor was from the filter in the Icemaker. "
