"The property was in a generally good state of repair and presentation, with the only area in need of attention being the shower cubicle . The dining area in the kitchen was tight for four adults. However, most things are provided and to a good standard. The garden room was a nice bonus and the off road parking was necessary as the road was quite narrow. "My friend and I recently stayed here and it was fantastic. We were greeted by Noel at the barrier who was extremely welcoming and never failed to smile when we walked past during our stay. All staff were lovely and nothing was too much for them. We were kindly upgraded to a hot tub room on arrival which was a lovely surprise and really made our stay. Room was excellent. Location was excellent. Will definitely visit again."

"Had a fantastic peaceful solo stay at this elegant hotel on the edge of Lake Windermere, staff were friendly and welcoming especially Pippa who made me feel comfortable as an older single female. The location is fantastic, and you can ditch the car and catch the boat over to Bowness, or you can chill out in the lovely pool and spa area, I hope to return."
