Peace and quiet

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin . We spent many days floating in the creek and enjoying the peaceful sounds . The cabin itself is very nice and the management was easy to communicate with ! I would definitely stay again !!

Great family getaway

Great property. Upstairs was perfect for family time and downstairs for the younger adults who wanted to stay up late playing pool. Would have liked two extra high top chairs for dining table to seat all 6 of us.

Hats off to Mr. Fitz this was one of the best stays that I've had in a long time. The cabin was amazing it was very quiet and relaxing. The home was nice and clean and it does have 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms but two of the bedrooms and one bathroom are downstairs with no access to the downstairs from inside the top floor.

Relaxing vacation

We had a great stay. The water access was so nice. The kids and I went on several walks in the stream and had a great time. Fishing from just out back was fun and there was a local fishing spot (Shooting Creek) just about 5 minutes from the house. The hot tub was nice and relaxing at the end of the day. There is no cellphone service but the WiFi signal was perfect. Overall, great stay.

Beautiful Setting

We had a relaxing week, the weather was perfect and the cabin was spacious with an amazing view. The cabin was clean, exactly as described & my 5 year old grandson let us know, as he climbed into the hot tub, that “He could get used to this.” The family had a great time in the game room, enjoyed the music amazing gazebo swing, & cooled off in the river. I would love to go back in the fall.

Best cabin !!

We loved out stay on shooting creek!! Fishing, game room, and hot tub was amazing for says we weren't out hiking!! Host was awesome to answer questions we had quickly. Home was beautiful and we couldn't of ask for a better getaway big enough for the whole family! Amazing hiking close by (siler bald is a must if you love hiking like we do) downtown Helen was great for shopping and the kids. We've stayed in the area every year for many years and this was by far my favorite stay for a family!! Snowed our last day which was so magical by the river. We will for sure be returning to enjoy this magical place!!

Beautiful Location!

We had a slight hiccup with the HVAC when we arrived and it was very cold in the house, but I only mention it to brag on the owners for their hospitality and the way they handled the situation. They went above and beyond to make things right and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and the deck overlooking the creek is spectacular! We will be back!

The family had a great time and we'd stay here again. We did have reservations about the lack of reviews but everything was fine. The internet wifi and tv were fine. The cleanliness coming in was ok but not impeccable but we didn't have issues with it. The house was well described and the creek was great for cooling off or fishing. The driveway entry is a bit tricky when exiting the property due to the grade.

Peaceful Beauty

Honestly the pictures didn't do this gem justice. The floor plan is perfect and open. Both bedrooms have sliders that open to the deck, Beds are comfy, its decorated nicely, not eccentrically like many vacay homes. Deck is huge and mostly covered with a GREAT view and sounds of the stream below. Hot tub was wonderful. Its VERY well stocked. You will want to drive at least an AWD as the driveway is a bit steep. 10 minutes to a number of good restaurants. We hit Huddle House for breakfast and they are super friendly and the food on point. The entire area is country cozy and beautiful. The Hosts were very responsive the few times I had questions. We plan to come back for sure.

Now that our three sons are grown and out of the home, we plan a family weekend every fall where we can all be together. This home was perfect for us. Each couple had their own bedroom, the deck was great for us to hang out and visit, the hot tub was a big hit as well as the game room, and the kitchen was well stocked for meal prep.

A few Issues that Fitz (Richard) went to the extreme to make them right . He was very accommodating. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi and sound of the creek.The hummingbirds on the balcony was very active.

A great cabin for a couple or couple with kids! Easy to find, very well appointed and cozy, and all the amenities you need for a getaway. The cabin is even nicer than the photos appear! We enjoyed warming up in the hot tub and listening to the river. If you're going in the winter, make sure you have a proper 4-wheel-drive vehicle if the weather is bad as the driveway is very steep.

Birthday getaway

We celebrated my 60th birthday with rest and relaxation. This place fit perfectly for us. Home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Master bed was very nice and firm. Hot tub was very clean and relaxing. The water had slight sulfur smell but no worries for us, it was probably well water but didn't bother my girlfriend or me at all. The creek was cold and refreshing and we saw nice sized trout. We had a great time and hope to come again
