That wasn’t a problem as the pub closes at 10, and then it was an advantage as we were able to sit outside for breakfast with the place to ourselves. The ladies in the dining staff were remarkable. Efficient, kind and just lovely. The dining areas were so charming, and our room was absolutely lovely (we stayed in the spa). Highly recommend - as well as the delightful pub just a short walk away!

Other reviews had some negative remarks about it being noisy, old and such, therefore I had some reservations prior to our arrival, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The establishment is an older building and with this comes thin walls, outdated fixtures and other bits but overall it was a comfortable stay. The building had a wonderful charm and had a pub on one side that became lively in the evening and yes, cause some noise but being from the city, nothing that would cause me not to be able...

This place was a fantastic stay away from hustle and bustle of the cities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the caretaker is very pleasant and will take care of most everything you could need and wants to be absolutely sure you’re having a pleasant stay. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking within half an hour of their destination. I will definitely be staying here again should I ever be in the area again

The White Horse Inn is exactly what we were looking. We stayed in the larger "fancy" room and it was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The bar in the inn was as it looked in the pictures - cozy and quaint. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was excellent.

We had an excellent stay at The Grand Brighton and found the room, restaurant, bar, and staff services to be exceptional. The location was fabulous offering convenient access to surrounding areas and a gorgeous view of the ocean. On the last night of our stay, the battery on our keypad failed (along with a few other rooms), and we were not able to get into our room for several hours. However, the staff handled the incident with care and did all they could to make the situation right for us. We...

A very authentic pub with a hotel upstairs. Food was top notch and very creative. Great breakfast. What stood out was the people - everyone we encountered working at the establishment went out of there way to make sure we were having a great stay.
