"Great option for a single night stay as part of a vacation in South west NB. Deer Island is very quaint, with lovely views and lots of cute deer. Room is very clean, very large bathroom with great shower. Bed and pillows very comfy. Rooms are up a flight of stairs but no big deal. Restaurant downstairs has very good food at very reasonable prices. Only hiccup was that even though the Hotels.com listing says no payment in advance, they charged my card 50% at booking. When I had to change the date of our stay, canceling one reservation and making another, I had to initiate a refund. I did receive the refund but I would recommend having this specified on the listing."

"Lovely historic building, right in the middle of the main square. Can walk to anything needed. Room was spacious and clean. The bed was a little tired with a saggy mattress, but overall everything was fine. A/c was a window unit but cooled very well. We enjoyed our stay."

"Beautifully appointed place. Hosts were fast to respond. View is really nice. All the furnishings are very nice. A few items to note: mosquitoes are an issue trying to set outside. The adjoining apts are extremely close so it’s not at all private. They can see you and you them. Thankfully they were not loud. The internet was spotty at best, so don’t try and work them there. The Pier restaurant within walking distance was excellent. Convenient to anyplace on Campobello."

"Everything you could hope for and more! The house is immaculate and lovely. The long deck can’t be beat. As I write this I am watching two seals in front of me, and so many porpoises and even a minke whale! Thank you so much Natalie for sharing your amazing home. We hope to return next year."

"Excellent location for touring the island, and not too close to the ferry traffic and tourist-y spots. We enjoyed the view from the deck and a bit of beach-combing right in our yard. The house has just about everything a visitor could want, made all the nicer by a very friendly, helpful host. Definitely recommend!"

"Peaceful and well kept property in a scenic location. Communication was perfect. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay - four big comfy beds and lots of little extras. The hosts obviously care about their guests. Highly recommend this getaway."

"Great little place! Very peaceful and quite, a little off the beaten path. Full on cottage feel, that has all the basics, including very good internet. Very easy to contact the host, who was quick to respond to any query. Not super fancy, but that is reflected in the price. The tap water is safe to drink, however we chose to bring bottled water for coffee and drinking. From the house, it is a 20 minute drive to New River Beach, an amazing huge beach that is surprisingly quiet. Also just a couple minutes from the (free) Deer Island ferry. If you plan on booking a whale watching trip, Full Tide Ocean Safaris on Deer Island is the place to go (which we discovered along with a recommendation note in the package of tourist materials that was provided by the host). My wife and I spent 3 nights here and we are already trying to figure the logistics if we can bring our 2 teens and stay longer next year."
