Healdsburg Inn in a beautiful place to stay. The staff was so helpful and wonderful to talk to about the city. We have stayed there a few times and will be back. Being right on the plaza make it very easy to check everything out and stagger back after some wine tasting.

Great location! Room & bathrooms were clean but a bit dated. But can't beat the location, directly on the square! The breakfast was freshly made and very delicious, kudos to the kitchen!

We loved our stay and our room 10, faced the back of the property and was very quiet. The only caveat is the bathroom has little space to put cosmetics or space for a guy's shaving kit. This was a small sacrifice for the overall accommodation being right on the Square, fabulous breakfast and prices lower than their counter parts at the same level. This is not a large hotel, but sits right next door to the Matheson...the uber "in" spot with a great bar and 2 restaurants. We loved our stay.

Carriage house room12 is not in the main building and via an open walkway when raining. The room itself was nice but a bit quirky. Breakfast had limited options and supply not great even at 9am. Close to many restaurants.

The fridge was broken in the room and spoiled food and drink. Loud throughout the hotel. No parking. No real amenities (no coffee in room). Great location. Extremely pricey for the offerings. Completely disappointed.

The in itself was lovely. The rooms were clean and wonderful. The issue we had were two things point. First the fans that control the temperature rattled like someone was typing on a typewriter and if we turn the fan off, then I got too hot and muggy. Note that this was during January not hot months. Second around 6 AM. It sounded like someone was moving trash around. We were on the ground floor so that might’ve been the issue. We told the receptionist and she said she would notice it until the manager as we were leaving on the weekend and the man was not available. I did not hear from the manager so I reached out she said she would look into a refund. Again, I did not hear back so I reached out and she was quite abrupt and said she had already handled it. So I reached out to Expedia because I did not see anything in my account. They immediately contacted her and we ended up with a partial refund. So overall friendly staff nice rooms. We really enjoyed the wine tasting held complementary Upstairs and the complementary continental breakfast just the issue with the noise so we did not get much rest and the lack of follow through.

If I was rating the Healdsburg Inn solely on location, Staff and atmosphere, it would earn 5-stars. However, there were 2 significant issues that hurt the overall score of this establishment: There is no parking for the Healdsburg Inn. There is an Air Garage behind the building, and since we have an account with that service, it was quite easy to use, but it can be expensive. The costs added up to nearly $100 using the daily rates. When you are paying north of $500 for a room, it is somewhat irritating that we need to pay additionally for parking with the risk of not finding a spot. The situation could have been much worse had we not been lucky to find someone pulling out of one of the scarce loading area spots in front, upon our arrival. Additionally, we were again lucky to secure the last available space in the air garage lot, otherwise we would be circling the town for alternate parking. In fairness, the hotel does have a back entrance and gate that leads to the air garage, which saved steps from walking around the block to get to our car. In any event, this is an aspect of the hotel that really needs improvement. 2. There is minimal facility support for the hotel. When returning to our room the first night, we quickly realized that there was no way to turn the heat on. Worse yet, the system was running the air conditioning, and we were unable to suppress it. The thermostat had no control over the system. The staff was unable to help.

Very nice property in a great location on the square. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing. Nice afternoon happy hour was an added bonus. Lovely rooms.

Charming restored older property on the town plaza

Charming property in a restored old building in the center of town, right on the plaza. Room was spacious with a nice couch for hanging out. There was a complimentary “happy hour” with snacks and wine in the afternoon, a nice touch. There are several restaurants and winery tasting rooms within a short walk. Only slight negative was that the staff, while very friendly and helpful, didn’t always seem knowledgeable about the area and (for example) had difficulty connecting a phone call to the room.

This was a fantastic stay. I moved hotels from the Hotel Healdsburg next door (which was at least double the price and horrible) and thoroughly enjoyed by stay at the Inn. Parking was simple and free. The staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming. They had my room ready early, helped me get settled and accommodated needs for extra waters and recommendations readily and quickly. The room was spacious, clean, and had the most comfortable bed. The nighttime cookies, local recommendations, and helpful welcome packet were most welcome. Free wine tasting and breakfast were offered. The Inn is right on the central Plaza, with dozens of cute shops and restaurants nearby. Don't waste your time or money on the big property next door - stay at this charming and wonderful place! I'll definitely be coming back.

This is a charming property , all the personnel are very attentive to your needs .
