"Honestly if I could give it more that 5 stars I would! The staff are AMAZING! They really could not of been more accommodating to make our over night stay run smoothly. They were able to give us late check out last minute and it saved us soo much hassle in our trip."

"The hotel rooms were absolutely gorgeous. Lovely beds, pillows , bath r9bes. Bathroom spotlessly clean. Plenty if tea and coffee making facilities. Easy sccess and parking. Nice to.have a beautiful restaurant on the doorstep. The staff were polite and efficient. The managers attentive. Couldnt ask for more."

"Slightly tired rooms but a lovely pub/restaurant with great staff. Fantastic location just at the top of the high street and only a couple of minutes from the National Trust property. A bit noisy but that’s the price you pay for the location. Recommended!"

"We stopped over night and found everyone friendly helpful and the accommodation clean and warm everything we needed. There was large function taking place which I was emailed about beforehand to let me know they had moved my room to be a little bit further away from the noise , howeve r we did not retune till midnight so it did not effect us . 10 out of 10 will recommend and stay again "

"We stayed at the Rose & Crown 19th and 20th June 2024. Nice room with tea / coffee facilities. Parking in pubs own parking area at the back of the hotel. There is a beer garden where we had fish & chips and must say it was the best fish & chips we have ever had. Next morning we had full English breakfasts with tea or coffee and plenty of toast. All on all excellent value for money."

"A very pleasant stay! Lovely large room and the bar and restaurant was great. Comfortable bed and good shower. They even made me food after the kitchen was closed. Only negative was the mini single use plastic shower gels and shampoos. Refillable soap and shampoo dispensers would make it perfect! "

"This is a pub with 12 rooms behind it in another building. A courtyard separates them. My room was of modest size and very clean. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. It has no parking lot; you have to pay in a public parking nearby. If you don’t want to move your car, there are two good pubs across the street for dinner. They offer a full English breakfast cooked individually, and you can have more or less of the individual items in it. There is no phone in the room. If you have a...

"An absolutely stunning period property in an enclosed setting. Couldn't ask for a warmer welcome on arrival, and immediately made to feel that no request was an inconvenience. Such courteous and attentive staff. A great stay for my Dad & I whilst at the nearby motor racing. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to others. "

"We’ve just had a lovely weekend in this quaint old pub situated in a quiet part of Hope. We had a very warm welcome, all the staff were very friendly and the breakfasts and evening meals were excellent with lots of food options. Our room was cosy and very clean and comfortable. Ideally situated for walking and exploring the local area. Thanks to all for a fabulous weekend x"
