"Absolute Gem of a Hotel, bed and pillows were comfortable, nice big room, absolutely fantastic Breakfast, one of the best I have enjoyed, this is a 250yr old building yet oozes character, attached to a lovely pub, some of the big brands and more expensive hotels could learn a lot from hospitality from these guys. "A very cheerful and helpful welcome which is always appreciated. The Hotel was conveniently beside the A4 and easy to find. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and comfortable with all the expected amenities. Dining in the Hungry Horse was OK but not exceptional. The availability of a Snacks/Drinks Vending Machine was also a bonus. Would highly recommend."

"Great staff and it was a good location for my specific trip and easy access to Test River trout fishing spots. The coop grocery store a block away was convenient. Breakfast at White Hart was excellent. Dinner was good too. Some road noise in the large room I had due to exposure to road, but I still slept well on comfy bed. Everything important worked very well. "

"The pub is on a busy road but the room was set back from the road and there was no issue with the noise. Plenty of parking available. Unfortunately we stayed on a very hot night, and even with the fan provided we struggled to sleep. "They accommordated us with an early check in at no extra cost, there was parking & a lovely breakfast all included in the price which was very reasonable. The rooms are lovely with water, tea & coffee & biscuits, there's a safe, and hairdryer and the beds are really comfortable. Could not fault it at all, would definitely recommend. "This place is excellent value with comfortable and classy rooms. A solid 8/10. It could so easily have been a 10! Simple things, could have really benefited from 2 comfortable chairs in the spacious bedroom, so as to enjoy the lovely gin provided. Food sounded and looked first class but nearly all the dishes we had were over salted. I’d stay again and try dinner next door as the place was very comfortable and set in a lovely village. "

"We loved this property! The setting is lovely and very close to Windsor. Self check in was very easy - our children particularly loved the animal feed and being able to pick their own eggs. The room was very well equipped with everything needed for a small family. The small kitchen had all the basics to make a simple dinner and breakfast. The garden at the side of the property was lovely for the children to run around in and to eat in the evening. We would definitely stay here again! "
