"Hosts were easy to communicate with. The property is exactly like the pictures posted. It is a very quiet area and close to all the wineries and other attractions. Great place for a couple! We loved the place!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay here, it’s just a few miles north of the town of Watkins Glen. We had a one bedroom cabin which was plenty of room for my husband and I. Very clean! Air conditioning worked well. It was so nice to come back after exploring to sit on the porch and watch the sunset every day. There’s a table and chairs on the porch and we ate several meals out there. There are a few restaurants in the area that we liked; “Here” for breakfast and Scale House Brewery for a couple of dinners. Since we had the one bedroom, there wasn’t a full kitchen, but a fridge, microwave, and Keurig which was fine. Had a great time in the area."

"We loved our stay here at the Tango Oaks Guest House! As others have mentioned, the location is perfect. There are so many wineries, restaurants and things to do in the Hector area on the East side of the lake. The house is equipped with everything you need, was clean and everything as described. We especially loved walking to the Adirondack chairs and seeing the beautiful sunsets in the evenings on the East side of the lake.The only thing I would change is the traffic during the night/early morning as my dog is sensitive to noise, but did not bother my boyfriend and I. It caused my dog to bark a couple of times, but was not bothersome to us or anyone else- just an fyi if you have a dog. The road the house is on is busy and does have traffic going 50 MPH so trucks can get loud. Again, this shouldn’t deter you from staying here, just sharing for your awareness. I hope to stay here again and I definitely recommend 5*****!"

"This place is so beautiful! The hot tub was huge and amazing. There is a great fire out and having access to the dock and kayaks made the trip so special. One thing to note is that there is no central AC but the primary bedroom and the living room had window units to help keep it cool. Such a good place, would highly recommend."
