"We loved the house for its location, beautiful view, and direct lake access. There was five of us on a girls trip and were glad for each to have their own bedroom. Of note, one of the five bedrooms is a bunk house separate from the main house. It was difficult to unlock but the owners responded quickly and provided assistance. It was comfortable out there but if you’re a person who needs to use the bathroom overnight you’d have to walk back to the main house for a bathroom. We enjoyed the amenities but did wish coffee and a hair dryer were included. We were traveling from out of state and most places include coffee. We had to buy a can to make it in the drip coffee maker. Also have literally never stayed anywhere that didn’t have a hair dryer. Overall though, these were minor and we would stay again. The location was within short distance to many wineries."

"We really enjoyed our stay at these tiny cabins. It felt plenty roomy for two people and it was quiet and private. Everything was well taken care of, clean, and we had everything we needed! My only suggestion would be to add a full length mirror somewhere in the cabin. The hot tub has an amazing sunset view that we took advantage of every night. It was truly an amazing experience and we hope we can come back one day!"

"We loved our stay here at the Tango Oaks Guest House! As others have mentioned, the location is perfect. There are so many wineries, restaurants and things to do in the Hector area on the East side of the lake. The house is equipped with everything you need, was clean and everything as described. We especially loved walking to the Adirondack chairs and seeing the beautiful sunsets in the evenings on the East side of the lake.The only thing I would change is the traffic during the night/early morning as my dog is sensitive to noise, but did not bother my boyfriend and I. It caused my dog to bark a couple of times, but was not bothersome to us or anyone else- just an fyi if you have a dog. The road the house is on is busy and does have traffic going 50 MPH so trucks can get loud. Again, this shouldn’t deter you from staying here, just sharing for your awareness. I hope to stay here again and I definitely recommend 5*****!"

"We couldn’t get the code to open/unlock the door, which was frustrating, but calling customer service resolved the issue. The house is very cute, loved looking out at the Lake from any room downstairs. The location is amazing, on the lake, quiet road, near lots of wineries, close to Watkins Glen. The house was very clean. Traveling with a group of 7 friends. The house was comfortable for all of us. Would definitely stay here again."

"This place is so beautiful! The hot tub was huge and amazing. There is a great fire out and having access to the dock and kayaks made the trip so special. One thing to note is that there is no central AC but the primary bedroom and the living room had window units to help keep it cool. Such a good place, would highly recommend."
