"Wonderful, beautiful hotel! In a quiet area of old town, close to everything; concierge Marina was lovely and a great help! Room was an absolute delight! Spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful. That was last stay of our German trip and we really really enjoyed it! Thank you Bamberger!"

"I was disappointed with the breakfast. They had just one operation coffee machine, brewed coffee and juices were always empty and buns were dry from the beginning. Also not too great selection in breakfast items. Staff was informed about the situation but didn’t do anything about it. If breakfast is important to you than look for another hotel. The rest was good. Bed was comfortable and staff at the reception very friendly. I would not stay there another night."

"Good: Nice hotel close to city centre, 10 minutes walk. Breakfast was excellent with great varieties. Not so good: Could hear upper floor people walking and doors closing. Bad: maybe the language barrier, the reception lady did not repeat the parking instructions and said to park any spot underground. But the hotel elevator was behind the closed gate in the garage. I had to walk up to her, then she told me to press the buzz by the gate, she would open the gate for me to park inside. When checking out, another reception lady insisted that I had returned the room card. So we took our luggage down to the garage, loaded them in our car. Then I went up to reception to check out and went back down to our car. When driving up the ramp, the gate arm would not open! I had to backup our car to the garage (luckily no car behind) and went back to reception to complain. So many times back and forth, what a waste of time!"

"Nice staff and clean comfortable bed. My wife loved the decor. The issues I have are lack of onsite parking and if booking through Expedia, you don’t get points."

"Die Unterkunft war vorzüglich, der Gastgeber zuvorkommend und herzlich. Bei Ankunftwar bereits Wasser und ein kühles Bier bereitgestellt. Frisches Obst war ebenfalls dabei.Auch für unsere Fellnase standen Näpfe bereit.Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und alles war reichlich vorhanden. Selbst von uns bei der Abreise vergessene Utensilien wurdenprompt zurückgesendet! Wir hatten 10 wunderbare Urlaubstage. Nochmals herzlichenDank dafür."

"It's a lovely clean and bright studio in the heart of Bayreuth, a 15 minute walk from the train station and less than a minute from the colourful and lively Maximilianstraße. If you're prepared to self-cater (and the local supermarkets are excellent), then it's a bargain. What stops it from my giving 5 stars? Not much. The apartment can get very hot, although a fan is provided. A separate receptacle for recycling would be welcome, as would a dustpan and brush for daily cleaning and instructions for how to use the hob cooker. Hghly recommended."
