We stayed at the Helendorf Inn for one night on our way north and had a great experience. The room was very clean, which is always a top priority for us. We absolutely loved being right in the middle of the downtown area. Everything was a short, easy walk, which made exploring so convenient. My 11-year-old loved the breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. The staff was friendly and very helpful, and overall the stay was smooth and comfortable. If you want to be centrally located, walkable to downtown, and in a clean, welcoming place, this is a great option.

The room was spotless and the staff was very professional and polite. We asked for more coffee to be brought to the room and the cleaning lady was at my door within 5 minutes with more coffee then what I asked for. Plenty of parking space and the Inn is at an excellent location to everything. Highly recommended.

The staff were extremely courteous and friendly! Over the top continental breakfast! Loved the location, it was convenient to everything Helen had to offer! We will definitely be staying at the Helendorf if our travels take us to Helen again! Love the cleanliness and well stocked rooms! Plenty of pillows, towels, cups, tissues, even coffee! My husband and I don't drink coffee but it was right there in the room with a Keurig! Absolutely wonderful stay here!

Plush comfortable bed, spacious unique style room, "Non-view" room area is like walking into a quaint German village with archways, porches with rocking chairs and charming murals & designs - loved it! Very reminiscent of old Hotels in Austrian Alps, Bavaria and in small towns along the Mosel and Rhine Rivers. Location next to the river was fun and atmosphere was festive. Nice get away weekend in delightful North Georgia.
