Everything was good with the exception of the air conditioner / fan unit. It just wasn't working and we didn't figure that out until midnight. The hotel staff did what they could to try to fix the problem, and it just wasn't something we could fix so late. I appreciated their effort. Breakfast was really amazing, and the room had a great view. Highly recommended, especially if you need parking. Bus comes frequently and is direct, takes only 10 minutes or so.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hammer. The hotel is located outside the town of Kriens and is accessible via a long windy road by either car or bus. If you're bringing a car, like we did, you can park for free at the hotel and use the regional bus and train system to get around the area. The bus can take you directly to Lucerne in about 25-30 mins. There's also fantastic hikes and "wanderwegs" that are accessible by foot right outside the hotel's door. The hotel provided a lovely...

Nice hotel near transportation but its not in the city

Beautiful

Staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional…especially Daniel. Great value. Wonderful location. Spotless. Modern. Price was right. Will be booking again very soon.

We enjoyed the great facilities (restaurants, bars, lobbies, outside campus of the Institute...), the delicious breakfast, large confortable rooms. It was close enough to Luzern to visit easily.

Helpful reception staff! Room was spacious and comfortable. Location to the train station helped to get into city.

A Family Paradise and Culinary Delight: Our Most Satisfied Stay at CHÄRNSMATT! Our recent stay at CHÄRNSMATT Gasthof & Spielparadies in Rothenburg was nothing short of exceptional and easily one of the most satisfying hotel experiences we've ever had, especially as a family. This isn't just a place to sleep; it's a complete destination that truly understands hospitality and creates joy for all ages. From the moment we arrived, the warm and genuinely friendly staff made us feel incredibly...

Hotel Felmis turned out to be a very good choice for my wife and me. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains from our room. We were driving, so we appreciated the very convenient parking. We took the bus from right in front of the hotel to downtown Lucerne, without having to hassle with parking in Lucerne. The area around the hotel is very nice.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful; the facilities quaint, clean and aesthetically pleasing! The view is unmatched and the setting perfect for the size hotel and surrounding architecture. Great place to practice your German and mostly everyone speaks english if you need help. Very quiet and serene! stunning Foliage and surrounding verdure.

Lakeside. Polite and friendly staff. Easy access to transit.

The location is good, less than 10 minutes walk to the train station, can take either train S4 or S5 about 10 minutes (2 stops) to central station. The staff is very helpful and the rooms is pretty good and comfort.

Our room was very nice for two couples, with comfortable beds and a few free drinks and snacks provided. We also loved the small balcony with a view of Lake Lucerne and the easy access to walking downtown along the lovely lake path.

Really like the place. Definitely come again. And also recommend my friends and family to pick this place for there stay in Lucern.
