Excellent option for a few weeks stay in the very center of Helsinki. Small but cozy rooms with sufficient options (microwave, shower, basic kitchen ware), and common premises for washing clothes. Many restaurants and shops within short walk, and close by Kamppi bus and metro station. Price vs quality is definitely adequate. Very friendly and efficient service via phone.

It was very easy to get checked in and out, to come and go, and in a very convenient location. The only thing that could really be improved was the soundproofing of the rooms or possibly the layout. Where I was, I could hear people in the corridor and doors opening and closing at all hours. Other than that, perfect for my stay!

Forenom Kamppi is a great location. You can access many areas of central Helsinki from this place. The rooms are functional. Good for a place to rest after your days out. There are many options nearby for eating. Interactions with staff are good.

This is the first time I have stayed in these apartments. I stayed in the ones in Rovaniemi owned by the same company so I knew what to expect. They are on a quiet street which is only a ten minute walk from the centre of Helsinki. There is a small supermarket across the road and plenty of coffee shops in the area so you can enjoy the great choice of cakes. I would stay here again when I visit Helsinki.

It was convenient to attend a conference held in the Marina area. I walked about a mile to get to the Marina and less than half a mile to get to the central train station. It was also close to nice restaurants and bars. The only inconvenient aspect is the need to contact the administration to obtain a code for use of the luggage room.

This hotel is a really good value. House keeping staff and the young men who work on the property are wonderful. This message is for the management team and that is you have such a good hotel but why did you put in the cheapest pillows money can buy? All good hotels offer at least one soft pillow and one hard pillow. Please make this change. Those pillows are the worst and so people have to stack their clothes underneath to get a decent night sleep. Make this change, it’s an inexpensive fix, and your hotel is well on the way to being near the top. Mr. Canada 🇨🇦

It's a nice hotel in downtown of Helsinki. Clean, quiet, affordable. One little note: when enter, after the code, you should dial pound. In the instruction letter they did not mention that.

Nice secure efficiency within 5 minute walk to Kamppi and 10 minute walk to the central railway station. Interesting restaurants and a K-market close-by. The unit did not have a sink, but it had a fridge, microwave and cutlery and cups, and kettle. Would have been nice to be able to open a window in the evenings. Otherwise no complaints.

Worth the money & good location

The location was perfect. Services were nearby and Forenom was easy to access with local traffic. Room quality was better than expected. Good beds, clean room, well functioning shower, cold tap water which didn’t have weird taste. Functioning small fridge with freezer. Slightly worn out bathroom but didn’t really bother us. We requested high floor and got it. Room was quiet and the street sounds didn’t bother us. Will come again!

A spacious room, eapecially for a solo traveller. It had 2 twin beds which can be pushed together. A fridge, coffee pot ad utensils. As well as a comfortable seat and tv. It's not too far from the station and definitely walkable. The apartment uses a key code and there is no reception or anything. Just type in the code and youre into the building, your floor and apartment. Perfect for solo travellers or even as a couple. And affordable too.

Window was not able to be opened really. There is a second glass which let’s just e little bit of air through it. And the air refresher was not really working that well. So the air was not that fresh in the room. Everything else was perfect. Especially for the price. Best location, clean, room size, everything very satisfying

the cleanliness would have deserved a little more attention, but nothing catastrophic. The doors are very poorly soundproofed so you can hear everything in the corridors and when you're there on a business trip or you're a bit out of sorts, it's very difficult in the morning to hear room service as if the door were open. Otherwise very practical for check-in and check-out with the code.

Functional, comfortable, convenient and cheap

This is a functional, comfortable, convenient and cheap place to stay in the centre of Helsinki. Access was by code, which didn't arrive immediately, perhaps not until I removed a spurious 0 from the start of the country code for my phone number. Room had a fridge, microwave, kettle and crockery/cutlery, but no provisions such as coffee sachets, but there's a small supermarket around the corner that's open until 10pm and sells nice croissants etc for breakfast. There was a nice desk but it would have benefited from having a desk lamp.

Great location to be able to walk all over Helsinki and close to public transportation. The water is nice and "sanitation hot" for the dishes, and the laundry machines did a nice job too. There were the unescapable city noises outside and the front of the hotel is very "inner city urban", but the inside is well kept, clean, and one feels safe. A good portion of Helsinki has a sort of Blade Runner vibe to it as it loses it "old European architecture charm" to brutalist and boring boxes architecture "to cheer people through the long dark winters". So the "outside look of the hotel is the norm for Helsinki". I think it would assist alleviating the winter depression problems if they went back to making more charming, visually uplifting architecture or at least painting the gray things more bright cheerful colors. "The stoic modern brutalist" stuff affects one soul with the long dark, cold survival months.
