"From the moment we drove up to the cabin, we were impressed. All the property was so well kept. There was an outdoor area for the dogs and a dog bed inside, both of which our dogs loved. The host was amazing to communicate with, very friendly, and accommodating. My boys loved playing in the woods and building a fire. Our stay was very enjoyable!"

"They refused to let my daughter check in because she was 18 and not 21. My daughter travels for work and has stayed at numerous hotels including other Best Western hotels, and she has never had an issue like this. Nowhere did it say there was an age limit while booking the room. "

"This place was more than we hoped for by far. We were traveling for the Phoenix BFL and chose this place because of its close proximity to the lake. We messaged Keith and Kathryn to make sure there were electric outlets outside for us to charge batteries etc and about parking as we had 2 boats in tow. They promptly returned answered me with pictures assuring us the place could accommodate us. When we got there we were shocked at how nice this place realy was, they even had some basic food provisions in the fridge for us. We will make sure to book this everytime we come down to this lake in the future. Thank you Keith and Kathryn for your hospitality and kindness. P.s. it was our first time to this lake and we didnt do as good as we wanted to in the tourney, but we had a good time. Maybe God will grace us with a better bounty on the next one. "

"I stayed 2 nights in the first night. There was a hip hop party right next to my room and I had to listen to booming base until midnight when I had an important event I was to be at the next morning. When I tried to check out, they told me that the room I stayed in was not under my name, and she could not give me my $100 incidental fee back, until they did some more research. Scheduling loud music parties until midnight and not even having the room I stayed in under my own name, is certainly bad business practices in my opinion."

"I’ll start with the positives because I always try to be fair. The location of Haven Inn in Louisburg is super convenient for Seby Jones Performing Arts. Also, the front desk girl who helped reactivate my key card in the morning when we got locked out was genuinely nice and helpful. Now… The photos online are a little… optimistic. You can tell they attempted a renovation at some point, but the renovation team fell way short. The floors are bubbling, separating, and growing things in the in between. Listen—I am not fancy at all. I’m the kind of traveler who just wants a clean place to sleep and a decent shower. But the bathtub was rough. There was mildew halfway up the tub and the shower curtain had clearly seen some things. Shower skipped for us. For three people, we had one towel and two wash rags, a used roll of toilet paper, and a collection of used mystery, mismatched lotion/conditioner/shampoo bottles. When I asked for more towels, they told me they had to wait for the other cleaning lady to finish washing some. The towels we eventually saw looked like they had served faithfully for about a decade and the mini fridge looked like it had rolled out of the back of someone’s pickup truck and was trying its best. No bugs (we hope) (and no refunds) so we stayed. 😂 And no, I didn't complain - I got the hint with the "All Sales Final, No Refunds" sign at check-in. My suggestion- book an Airbnb early. Sorry Haven, I kinda feel bad leaving a less than par review. "
