"Clean room, comfy beds, great staff, delicious food and fast wifi. Excellent location within walking distance of everything in the harbour. Really enjoyed our stay but would hesitate to stay in summer months as a/c unit wasn’t that productive and it wasn’t that hot yet. Otherwise.. loved this place!"

"Lovely condo, very clean, modern and the kitchen has everything one needs to cook with. The condo is located on a quiet residential area and in walking distance to many amenities. Super communication with our hosts and there is parking in the driveway. "

"A beautiful hotel with a rich history! You can't beat the view of the harbor and location for activities. Plus, the Visitor's Center, harbor taxies and tour busses are all within a block. The staff was so friendly and professional. The rooms were awesome, with great beds and pillows. My only complaint is that some rooms have you check in on the 1st floor vs the main lobby. However, the bell hops will assist you with getting you and your luggage there. If you drive a SUV, you won't be able to self-park in the garage. However, the staff will park your car for you in their private lot. I would highly recommend a stay at the Fairmont Empress. Don't forget to book tea!!"

"This little suite was perfection. The kitchen was stocked incredibly well. The bedroom and large walk in closet made it so easy to put away our clothes. The in suite laundry was fantastic to have.Colleen has thought of absolutely everything to make this perfect home away from home."

"Problematic from beginning to end. Received a request for balance of payment the day before arrival....!?!?!?!?!On arrival, the location was a complete and utter dump (refrigerator in the driveway!?!?), busy highway, idyllic pool from vrbo advertising covered in a huge plastic, ugly green bubble, apartment was dirty, kitchen facilities in particular, an Xmas (?) half eaten, moldy pie in the oven, large holes in the door screens preventing privacy, heating went off in the middle of the night, total nightmare!!I am a longtime vrbo, global customer. In my humble opinion, this property should not make your availability list. SO sad to have had my trip ruined dealing with these anomalies. Host tried to be kind and helpful but ultimately sent me an extremely rude text. I do not believe that my expectations are too high having had wonderful vrbo experiences all over the world.Profoundly considering how to move forward in the future :-("
