"We stayed at Happy House in Roedean for a few days in mid-November. It was a terrific experience. The house is beautifully placed, about a mile and half away from Brighton Town centre. This gives the home a sense of apart-ness whilst being in easy reach of the town. The house is tastefully decorated and features everything that one would need for an excellent stay, including parking. It also benefits from unspoilt views of the sea."

"Absolutely amazing place to stay. Ten minutes from the front and town. Loads to do on the south coast. And the holiday let it’s self well what can I say but it’s perfect. Set on top of a hill with views for miles, quiet even though a working farm. Pigs and chickens to make you smile. Beautiful cottage with everything you may need, stunningly decorated and maintained! 10/10! Couldn’t recommend any higher. A MUST STAY!!!!"

"This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep."

"Booking was super easy and the host was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for us. They had supplied us some tea/coffee/sugar/milk wine and few bits which was lovely. The bed description for rooms isn’t as shown but the host had messaged me saying 2 beds downstairs so this really wasn’t an issue for us. "A very pleasant long weekend at North Lodge. Location is peaceful but well located, plenty of amenities nearby. The house is cute and full of character. The kitchen/diner is a particularly nice space with patio doors out to the pretty little garden with mature shrubs and seating area. The kitchen is very well appointed. "We spent two nights in the Little Cottage in Seaford, which is ideally located for the cliff top walks leading to Cuckmere Haven and the Seven Sisters’ trail. Whilst the details state it’s a studio, it could be made clearer that the only bed is a sofa bed, as we’ve stayed in VRBO studios before that do have a separate bed.
