I love the private beach and ocean view from our balcony. We booked the honeymoon suite which came with a huge bathtub overlooking the ocean. Great place to relax!!

The hotel was excellent in clean and safe environment. The thing that needs improvement is knowledge of English. Wifi was only available in the room, not outside. Difficult to use a translator to communicate.

Wonderful hotel, I regret I had to leave too soon. I admired the museum pieces on display in the hall with the bakdrop of the Ocean view. The staff was very helpful in giving me info about all the places to visit in the Kenting area. An amazing place.

Very busy hotel, long waits for restaurants, many items at breakfast had run out, breakfast had lots of selection but the food was not good quality. Very nice private beach with clean sand and nice chairs. Very strict beach hours and not allowed to swim in water after 6pm. Pools are nice. Very overpriced drinks. Overall, average resort. Definitely not a 5 star, more like 3 star resort.

Nothing wrong with this place. It was in a lovely location within walking distance to night market. You need to drive to enter the National Park, unless you are up for a ten km walk. I gave it four stars because it is showing it's age a bit. But it was clean and I would stay there again.

Good retro resort

We booked the honeymoon suite with sea view. The room was very worth the price. It's also the best way to enjoy the nearby beach as you need to be guest of the hotel to swim in the only suitable swimming area that has life guards. The hotel is a bit old but I think the quality was good overall. The only mediocre thing was the buffet restaurant but since Kenting is very close you can just walk to a better restaurant. The morning buffet was ok. We were here on March when there was not much tourists but the weather was perfect so it was almost like having a private beach and private swimming facilities. The staff is very helpful and overall the hotel is well-equipped and offers great facilities. Word of advice: don't book the mountain view. You must absolutely book the sea view.

Very nice but….

Excellent staff - but we were housed in the old area of the resort and the rooms are tired, however the beds were very comfy. Breakfast, the coffee places were all very very good. Pool area is excellent. The beach area needs some serious maintenance and trash collection. Seems like a lot of inconsistencies between the various areas of the resort. Also the registration gave one information but later the breakfast restaurant wouldn’t honor the coupons given by registration. For the grounds in front of the resort there is a lot of plastic waste.

The hotel has its own access to the beach so it’s convenient. However, with the five star price that you pay, I have to say there is so much improvement needed for the hotel to meet our five stars expectation. The breakfast buffet was soso ( the dinner was great). The front concierge doesn’t seem to enjoy her job and gave us a poker face when we asked her question. The weather wasn’t nice when we stayed , so we expect to spend more time using their indoor amenities. However, there were not many options. All in all , I will give this hotel a 4 star instead of a 5 star.
