Very Good

Good location, room of decent size but "courtyard or garden" view was straight on to sloping tiled roof so now view at all- at least not over ktchen extractor though! ONly other complaint was that the carpet obviously hadn't been vacuumed- there were bits of grit from the nearby roadworks all over it which weren't visible on a grey/black carpet but detectable by soles of bare feet! Did not have breakfast.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Basic accommodation with very few amenities and no evening hot meals. Only one option locally in walking distance for food but Henley is a short drive away with more options. The hotel served a purpose

A brief encounter
Overnight stop on a journey - thank goodness. Not somewhere to stay for pleasure
Comfortable beds and clean but people passing your door until late in the night did not do much for a good night sleep.

Quiet hotel
Room was clean, although a smell of dampness, possibly due to lack of a working extractor in the bathroom. Staff were friendly and the food was ok and plentiful. Not a great deal of atmosphere and drab decor. Overall ok.

Excellent service. Good curry. Went out of their way to ensure it was a good stay.
Just returned from a 2-night stay at the Henley Hotel. The room was clean and tidy however a little on the small side. The shower was powerful, and the bathroom was very clean.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, they could have done with a little more training on the checking desk.
The bar was spacious, and the seats were comfortable, however there was only bottled beer and no draught beers available
We did not eat here as the breakfast was £10.50 per person and the bar only opens in the evenings for alcoholic drinks and just teas and coffees during the daytime.
Overall, I would rate this hotel as a 7 / 10. I would stay here again on a short break.
(Note it is difficult to get mobile signal here)
I was here last year aswell, so for me the choice was ideal. Its inbetween lanes in the middle of nowhere, so you can easily walk up to Tanworth (Where a festival was located back then).
Henley Hotel is really low-key and no-nonsense: Everyone is approachable and you easily share personal experiences. It usually is a place for meetings and the more well accustomed people as ''just a place to stay'' but for passer-bys like me, it was a great time.
Mukva pikku maalaishotelli.
Good food, friendly staff. Easy parking and convenient for Redditch

Choose a different hotel especially in Summer
The bed was so hard I could not sleep for the whole 3 nights. No padding and lose springs. No Air Conditioning so even when it's very hot, it's like a sauna. You cannot open the window as there is no window screen or you have bugs in the room like I had.
Also no cell signal.
Staff welcoming and room v clean albeit bed was a tad lumpy. Had a suite and it was spacious with separate seating area. About half hour walk into henley but decent fish and chip diner within 5 min walk. Room rates reasonable.
No food available in the evening during my stay. Less of an issue if you have a car but if not, inconvenient. Bar on site open and serves til midnight.
Wifi ok but there is limited phone signal in the area if you need to take/make calls.

employees were nice but menu was limited and wifi poor.
The hotel was perfect for the two of us. We booked a comfort room, which was a little on the small side, but is fine for two. The room had a double bed, tv, kettle, fan and hair dryer. The food was lovely, and couldn't fault the service at all! Would definitely recommend.
Very courteous service and a quiet hotel. The room was functional and clean but lacked style. I booked a double bed but got twin beds. There was a view of a roof and the toilet seat didn't fit properly. But we slept well and had a generous, delicious evening meal.
Location is a little out in the sticks, so a car needed. Good restaurant over the road. Amazing breakfast. Bar could be better stocked. Rooms compact but everything you need.
