"Booked here mainly for the air conditioning ..30+ degrees at the moment. Upon check in we were informed that the air con was broken in our room. They had put a fan in the room so went to see. It was like an oven so politely declined. We were offered an upgrade, but was asked if we were willing to pay the difference ourselves. "Really loved our stay at The Blue Boar. Enjoyed an excellent dinner in the beer garden, and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking was plentiful and the electric car charging station was the best and easiest we used on our travels. Would definitely stay again."

"Great hotel, pool and play spaces excellent, restaurant and food options good too. Nice family or celebration venue. Helpful and friendly staff. No room aircon but good fan, and restaurant aircon very effective for a chill out! 👍"
