In the heart of Herborn, right on the historic city wall

Rückers Scheuer, that is how the Herborner called the building, which lies directly on the historic city wall below the Corvin print shop, where the Piscator Bible, translated by Johnnes Piscator in 1602, was printed for many years.
In 1928 Erich Rücker stocked the barn u. it became a stately apartment building.
Director Schuhmann, the grandfather of the last owner, can today be inspected together with two other long-established Herborners as a bronze statue on the market square in Herborn, easily on his hat u. recognizable by his briefcase.
The bronze figures and other sights are only a 5-minute walk from “Rückers Scheuer”.
The "Stone Gate" Herborn's oldest city gate is directly connected to our house.

We acquired this beautiful building in 2011 with the aim of preserving it. to revive a piece of history.
