"This is a traditional inexpensive Tico hotel. It has fans instead of AC, no pool, thinner walls than US folk are used to, no elevator front and center. But it is clean, safe, and costs half or less the rate of a US-style hotel. There is a mall, banks and restaurants within a half kilometer. It's good at being what it's supposed to be."
