Timbered House
2 Bridge Cottage has been in the same family for over 3 generations. There are 4 bedrooms. 2 doubles, 1 single and 1 with a bunkbed. The upstairs is divided by 2 staircases and will comfortably sleep 7. The current owners live overseas and come back whenever they can and rent the house out in between to keep it all running. We completed the renovations on the property for the owners and we are looking after the property till they move back here. The village is great, with plenty of walks, a well stocked village shop, a very welcoming social club and we hope the pub will be open again soon.

Charming and well equipped cottage in a nice village. Plenty of space to chill and everyone slept well as the beds and bedding were very comfy. Nice walk around the village and lovely to hear the bells chime at the local church. Simon was a very accommodating host and the welcome hamper was much appreciated.
The Nags Head in Canon Pyon (about an 8 minute drive) serves great food with a smile.

The cottage is really lovely, tastefully decorated, comfortable, warm and well-equiped. Two small families (3 adults and 3 children) stayed here very happily for for 4 nights and had a brilliant holiday. The village shop is just around the corner. Peaceful country walks starting from the front door. Splendid cream teas at the nearby garden centre. Highly recommended.

A couple of problems though, not obvious from the listing. One of our party need to work while away from home. The internet speed was too low for this (IIRC <5Mb/s). Also, the property is minus a door to the dining area so we could not partition off a work area, and youngsters and work don't mix well.

What a beautiful property! The hosts left some essentials for us, milk in the fridge and even some chocolate! It was a home away from home. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. Decorated nicely and had everything we needed. Set in a good location with a short walk to a lovely cafe and garden centre and short drive to other attractions, parks etc. Plenty of room for our group. The hosts were very welcoming and left us with a nice little welcome pack of goodies.

The cottage has been very tastefully decorated and had adequate space for 4 adults and 3 children. We stayed at Christmas and the decorative touches were lovely. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are super comfy and the water is lovely and hot.
Location is great, village is lovely with plenty of walks and a handy village shop 2 minutes walk away.
Simon the host was great - good communication prior to our arrival, answering queries quickly, and even attending at short notice to help us out with a little issue. The welcome pack was a nice little touch too, as were the dishwasher tablets!
Would highly recommend and the children are already asking when we will be going back 🙂

Stayed at the cottage to attend a wedding locally. Fantastic property, very clean with and well equipped. Our daughter enjoyed the welcome pack wine and chocolate. Simon very kindly provided a cot for our grandson, thank you .Unfortunately we didn’t see much of the local area, may possibly return for a more relaxed visit in the future.

Lovely cottage renovated to a high standard. Simon was really helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The milk, wine, chocolate and breakfast left for us was a really lovely touch - Thankyou. We only stayed for one night as it was only a quick visit to the area but we would definitely stay again

This gorgeous cottage is so quirky inside, the adults were almost as giddy as the kids with exploring it.
The family managing the property have really done a great job and were so kind.
Simple thoughts like providing some dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods, milk and WINE were fully appreciated.
The surrounding area was packed with fun things to do, we really could have stayed longer. The castle up the road has a maze, play area, Trevor and his exotic animals (we stroked an armadillo, easily one of the highlights of our trip!) Gardens, waterfall cave, cafe....... Definitely worth a visit.
We will be back and can't wait to see the further developments of the cottage renovations.

Quirky cottage , very clean - could do with a chopping board, hooks for towels in the bathroom and faster internet but a lovely place to stay. Shame the village pub isn't open. Would definitely recommend it

We had a lovely few days in the cottage. It was immaculately clean throughout, had comfortable beds and all the facilities we needed. The location was great for exploring rural Herefordshire and we made full use of the book of local walks.

This black and white timbered cottage in a village setting has been refurbished to a very high standard. It has been sensitively done, combining original features with modern comfort. It is very well equipped throughout and has a tranquil feel to it . The village shop is a short walk away and fresh farm eggs were available within a 100 metres .
There are many local attractions within easy reach and the surrounding countryside is varied and beautiful .
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend the property which is managed by Simon and Yvonne who are very easy to deal with and live close by .
