"Looking at the outside, it is an older motel, but the rooms have been completely redone. Very nice! Our room was on the south side, away from the highway. PET FRIENDLY!! no grass by our room, but if you walk to the front of the building there is. Was a pleasant surprise! "

"Wow!!! What a unique property and great location. Had great communication with Becky she even delivered a bottle of propane late in the evening for us.. Had the place cool for us when we arrived and even had dog bowls at the ready.. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come back to Amarillo.Thanks Becky!!"

"We stayed here for one night on our way home from a NM road trip. It worked quite well for us - we used the grill to cook dinner and made breakfast the next morning before we got on the road. There are friendly dogs who get more friendly when they realize the grill is being used. Bed was comfy, shower is huge, kitchen had what we needed to prep 2 meals. We didn't go the Palo Duro but we have been to the canyon before, It is a MUST see for any visitors who have time. The Panhandle-Plains Museum has paintings by Georgia O'Keefe. She taught school in Canyon and learned to love those landscapes while she lived there. "

"Glenda's Downtown Bungalow was a spacious, spotless, and tastefully-furnished home base for exploring Palo Duro Canyon. Well-equipped kitchen and laundry, master bedroom had a comfortable king-size bed, and the blackout shades worked beautifully keeping out the bright morning light. Jack-and-Jill bathroom had a nice shower flow with quick hot water and soft, luxurious towels. Thoughtful touches like a packet of microwave popcorn, makeup removal pads, a container supplied with lint roller, toothbrushes, toothpaste, flossers, Q-tips, & sewing kit. Possible necessities like an umbrella and flashlight. Even a French Press and an electric kettle! The only suggestion I would have is to replace the scratched nonstick pots and pans. But the place was just wonderful and in a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the lovely, well-kept yard with shade trees and raised flower beds. A very comfortable and relaxing space. Wish we could have stayed longer!"
