"Whale Rock Lodge is a lovely place. Very much a home away from home. Staff welcoming and efficient. We had a room in The Villa; a separate building to main house with it's own entrance and car park but only 30 steps to main building. The room and bathroom were large with fridge & tea/coffee making facilities. Good sized balcony with comfortable seating. "Nice location and wasy to walk into town. Fantastic restaurants nearby. As for the room it was clean, very industrial flooring and interior. Understaffed, however delovered a good breakfast. Room 7 states partial sea view but you have to crane your nexk to see it whilst viewing the property neck door so there was a lack of privacy. "
