Along the historic Sword Beach where D-Day forces landed, visitors can explore poignant WWII memorials and enjoy the peaceful shoreline. Take a short trip to see the famous Pegasus Bridge, then return for a relaxing afternoon on Hermanville-sur-mer's golden sands.
This is an original building that was on the beaches of Normandy in 1944 and before, and suffered damage from off shore gun fire from Allied Ships on the day of the assault. The building is now a quaint hotel with a family owned hotel. We enjoyed our stay as we made a visit to all that is available in the area. All provided gave us a relaxing stay.

Our room was nice and quaint. Our balcony was a wonderful touch. . Breakfast had a nice array of French favorites.
Several food options near by for dinner.
Very friendly service, highly recommended!

Parking was not secured at night, which was a bit worrisome with the camping area next door. However, the hotel was clean, check in was easy, and it’s in a convenient location to the ferry port!

The place is spectacular! We came to France to explore the Normandy area and wanted a stay that was away from hustle and bustle. This place was perfect for us! Beauty both on the inside and outside. Our stay was so special. We immediately felt welcomed and after our four night stay we felt like friends. Damien and Sylvia are the most generous and kind hosts. They made delicious homemade breakfasts and dinners for us, they gave us a ride to the sea and back and they were willing to grant any...

Has a connected suite that was basically two separate rooms linked together. Awesome. Breakfast decent too. Near train station and near tram and walking distance to city castle. Perfect location. Though bring your own shampoo and conditioner if you don't like their soap+shampoo all in one lotion.

We had a wonderful 3 day stay in August. The staff is excellent -- friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. They gave us great information, including directing us to a store where we could get a replacement for an adapter we had left at home! The location is superb: right in the center of town, maybe 5 minutes from the major tourist sights -- and don't miss the Abbaye aux Hommes (from 1066 -- and William the Conqueror is buried there), a couple of minutes from restaurants, and a quick cab ride to...
