Come and stay at our newly remodeled four bedroom house in a village setting nestled in the beautiful hills of Pennsylvania! We are located just one hour from either Bloomsburg Fairgrounds or Harrisburg Farm Show Complex! Bring your children and enjoy a relaxing weekend or longer stay in this peaceful neighborhood. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Appalachian mountains all around us! Two Amish hardware stores, a Friday market with everything from produce to bakery to knife sharpening, a discount grocery store, an Amish shoe store, two lovely greenhouses, and a fabric store, are all within a few miles.
This little house is super clean with bedding and towels and other basic amenities! The room darkening blinds are perfect for those mornings when you prefer to sleep in. It boasts a fully supplied coffee nook. Brew a cup of hot coffee anytime of the day while you work on a spacious desk! The fast internet connection is newly installed and provides wifi throughout the house.
There is space to walk around outside and Church Road is a quiet place for a brisk walk any time of the day.

A special place.

Wonderful short stay

Thank you Barbara and family for working with my family on such short notice. We had to make the trip for unfortunate circumstances and trying to find a comfortable, clean, and affordable place for my family to stay was one less worry I didn't have to deal with. Perfectly welcoming

My family and I stayed here for one night during the time of my Mom's memorial service in the area. The host was very welcoming and provided cookies upon arrival. The property was perfect in every way, for the size for our family, cleanliness, and all the accomodations we needed were there to make the stay very comfortable.

This place in the heart of Mennonite Country was perfect for what we needed. Quiet place to sleep for the night as we prepped for a bike race the next day. Host was fabulous & friendly. We were left a plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies which were excellent. If we come back to this race next year we will certainly stay here again. Thanks for everything!

Most hospitable host

Barbara went above and beyond when working with us. Our trip got flipped around when last minute medical concerns had us scrambling for modified dates. Then to realize that we may not be able to do these days due to horrible weather coming through our area, she was very communicative and worked with us. We will most definitely stay with her again and look forward to our next trip to PA.
