"Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for."

"Although enjoyed the stay it needs pointing out that the steps to the allocated room were steep (no joke with heavy luggage). Should the addition of a lift be considered? This means those with accessibility problems could find problems. That aside, the room was good and restaurant very good (used for both a dinner and breakfast).
