From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality provided by George, the owner, was truly exceptional. George went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable, arranging transportation to and from the airport, organizing a rental car, and providing a comprehensive guide to explore the breathtaking island of Crete. His dedication to making us feel welcome and cared for at this charming, family-owned boutique hotel. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. Our luxurious room featured a beautifully updated bathroom, a spacious living area, and a private balcony that offered stunning views of both the pool and the ocean. The elegant design and attention to detail created a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. We stayed for 11 nights, and every moment was filled with joy and tranquility. "Had an amazing weekend at Palmera! Check in staff was kind and efficient. The bar staff was not attentive, I was often ignored but it didn’t bother me too much as I wasn’t in a hurry. Unfortunately, there were many extra charges and add ons that I was not made aware of. Many guests and I complained about the fact that we paid for all inclusive, yet most things were not included. A bit disappointed about that, a simple note on the property details would have sufficed. Regardless, the food was delicious and the vibes were great! The kitties were my favorite part! I would come back, but only after April 1st, when everything opens for the season. "

"Just had 5 nights at this hotel (late October) and it was wonderful. Busy enough to feel part of something, quiet enough so that there were no queues at all for food (which was plentiful, varied and delicious) and plenty of space in every area (poolside, restaurants, etc). Room was comfy, pools were lovely (if a little cold), sun loungers were plentiful, staff were great (my daughter and I did sunset yoga every day - bliss) and only a 25 minute taxi ride from Heraklion Airport. Deserves every one of it's 4 stars."

"A beautiful hotel in the heart of Koutouloufari. Rooms are spacious with everything you could possiby need during your holiday, plus a bottle of wine to welcome you. The pool area isn’t huge but very pretty and never so busy you can’t find a seat or sunbed. So many brilliant places to eat and drink on the area. Perfect holiday destination."
