"The hotel itself is fine and the staff are excellent. But to describe the hotel as "ski-in/ski-out" is wholly misleading. The exit/entrance involved a dangerous traverse across about 100m of sheet ice. The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. That runs about every 90 minutes, so is basically useless. So don't stay here if you don't want to have to drive to the resort each day. Also, don't make the mistake of buying the full Paradiski...

Bout St. Maurice is a ski town in the winter and a hiking/ biking town in the summer.My wife says this is one of the best areas we have ever seen and thinks the motel is the best as well. "the staff were friendly and the room was good. i did feel that for the price for the room, paddle boards should be free to use and maybe they can have a few more available. also, same with the bikes. offering some complimentary evening snack or something would also be good. four star places include breakfast or these type of things to make it an elevated experience beyond just a hotel in a good location. the sauna was nice and the outdoor small pool was closed when we wanted to use it. also more...
