"Enjoyed our 2 night stay great breakfast and good location as it was just opposite the park. Shops and restaurants all local. Car Park was a small and under the hotel. "

"The hotel was amazing the only thing i would suggest maybe have a little map for where the hotel is as we couldnt find it it took a while to find but apart from that couldnt fault our stay and the plate of cakes was a lovely touch thank you to the hotel for that "

Comfortable bed, though we were facing a main busy street, the noise did not affect us. The lady (I am so sorry for not remembering her name) had plenty of suggestions about how to get to the venue. She even let us keep the car parked after our check out. The location is very good as well. Buses and Metro available within a short walking distance. Great value for money!"
"We thoroughly enjoyed staying in a castle. Staff were very friendly and professional . There was a selection of two menus for dinner. The more casual menu had steak and ale pie which was exceptional and a generous portion size. The hotel is conveniently located to visit Hadrian's Wall and the Roman History Museum. It is also not far from Hexham Abbey. It is a rare experience to visit a 7th century church. Don’t forget to take the tour of the castle offered daily to guests. If you are looking for a unique experience this is the place!"
