"Some hotels are dog tolerant but this hotel is truly dog friendly & they thought of everything to make our stay as great as possible. The bed & showers were better than some we’ve had in 5* hotels and the staff were all so nice & friendly, couldn’t do more for your you as guests. Will be back! "

"Top floor room (32) was lovely. Clean and comfortable. Excellent lift. The staff were absolutely A class. They couldn't do enough for us from the very moment we checked in. Breakfast was very tasty & cooked fresh to order. Highly recommend the full english & the eggs benedict. The hotel itself is well placed in town with an excellent view of the park & abbey. If we're back in Hexham, we would most definitely go back. Thank you to all the staff. "

"Great location with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes close by. Hexham Abbey within easy walking sistance. Room was spacious and very quiet. Nice 'extras' provided (sewing kit, razor, toothbrush and past) which is no longer standard. Parking was easy and on the street directly opposite the hotel."

"A luxury warm and cozy home in the centre of Hexham. The welcome pack is a lovely touch. Car parking is directly outside on the street or adjoining street and a permit is provided by the owner. The cottage is larger than the photos suggest. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. The bathroom is also very luxurious and the rain head shower is amazing. The beds are also great and we both slept well every night. "

"This cottage is ideally located 4 minutes' walk halfway between the bus garage and the historic area of Hexham, and just 10 minutes from the station. There are plenty of eating places and takeaways nearby and a convenience store just a couple of minutes seat. The cottage itself was immaculate, well-equipped and beautifully furnished, with high quality towels and linen and toiletries. To correct an earlier review, there is a potato peeler. The only possible problem for anyone with walking difficulties is that there are 6 quite deep steps up to the front door."

"This property is as described. Our Family of 4 were comfortable and happy here. We have two children (8 and 3). Be aware there is a flight of stairs going straight up as soon as you open the front door. We were not bothered by it. The location is wonderful. Park your car right outside the door and walk straight into town. We would stay here again. "
