Peaceful, centrally located guesthouse in downtown High Springs, FL.
8 minute walk to town center & restaurants, and 8 minute drive to our gorgeous springs.
Guesthouse has its own entrance with keypad lock, bedroom w/ queen bed, large bathroom, kitchen, and living room with smart tv & a futon couch. Pet friendly! Pet bowls and waste bags available for you to use. I’m often at home next door, should you have any questions. 3 guests max, no unregistered guests. Enjoy having an entire guesthouse to yourself. It is distanced from the main house by a large utility room, so your space is very private and quiet. It is a relaxed and casual with over 700 square foot space. This one bedroom apartment includes a large bedroom, living room, kitchen and a big bathroom with lots of counter space. Has central air & heat, window unit a/c in bedroom, & ceiling fans in bedroom and living room. Your parking area is in front of the guest house door, my husband and I park on the back side of the house so you likely won't see or hear us very much, we are discreet and will respect your privacy. Kitchen does not have a dishwasher. Kitchen is suitable for light cooking only.**Bathtub/shower has a wide sidewall, some people may find it difficult to climb/step over to access and exit bathtub. Bathtub has no rails. Please take this into consideration when choosing to book this property. The guesthouse and parking area in front of the guesthouse are for guest use. Private entrance with keypad code lock. Guesthouse has a large bedroom, full bathroom, living room with sofa that converts to full size bed, and a kitchen. Portable folding chairs and beach towels are available for day use at the springs. This older, tree-filled neighborhood is adjacent to downtown, only 6 blocks to the center of downtown but also typically quiet and peaceful. Please keep that in mind when booking- this is definitely a chill, quiet kind of place. Neighborhood noises like folks on their porches, lawnmowers, etc. are typical. Sometimes on weekends you can vaguely hear (when outside) live music from downtown venues. This is a very wooded area (the guesthouse even has a huge live oak right out front) and when the door is open, bugs get in. Less door open = less bugs inside. Please message me if you have any concerns or problems regarding the guesthouse, during your stay, and I’ll try to resolve them as best and as quickly as I can! Utility outages (cable/wifi/power,etc) happen rarely, but are out of our control, and not grounds for refunds.
We keep a rechargeable lantern in the cabinet above the toaster. Only the people listed on the reservation, or pre-approved visitors, may be on/in the property. No smoking, parties, events or get-togethers. Just let me know prior to reserving if you’ll have family stopping by /visiting.
For stays of 4 days or longer, conditional use of washer/dryer may be available, please inquire first.
