"The property is attractive, room was lovely and clean, grounds were appealing and we had a room with French doors leading outside with a small table and chairs outside which was great for breakfast etc. There is a kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal which is a bonus if you fancy self catering. Adam was helpful and informative. Very quiet and relaxing location and perfect for visiting the area although you do need a car."

Living area is one level above street and can be a little noisy, since it’s on a busy street, but the bedroom is a level above that and much quieter. Lots of good pubs and restaurants steps from apartment. Would definitely stay again!"

After negotiating we stayed, and the smart TV did not stream any channel or even Netflix, but although the shower immersion heater unit worked, the tap only ran cold in the bathroom sink, and there could have been a few more mugs, cutlery and some side plates would have been helpful. "We like the location as we can park at north station (for a fee - £16 for the weekend) which is right next to the hotel, and jump on the train into the city centre. Well maintained, new hotel, with spacious rooms and nice bathrooms. Nice staff. Small pool, gym, and sauna (which can get busy) and a really good breakfast buffet. Will return, outside of school holidays to make better use of the wellness facilities."
