"The Super 8 Motel in Fairview Heights was a great stay for my wife and me. We had traveled to St.Louis for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The hotel is conveniently located near the bus routes that link with the metro rail. "

"The host was very helpful with trying to accommodate an additional night, but in the end our flight limited our stay to the original dates. All 3 floors of the house were clean, orderly, and cleverly renovated to maximize space for groups. But floors could also be compartmentalized with separate entrance doors for lower, main, and upper levels for more privacy, if needed. The photos captured the inside well, and having a kitchen area on each floor was fabulous. The only suggestion I have is to post how the bedrooms and baths are laid out by floor in the write-up or in the photo caption (i.e., bedroom top floor). It helps in planning for those who aren't as agile anymore! My sister and I chose the main floor (2 beds, one full bath, kitchen, dining room, living room, and front porch access) to avoid stairs. The upper floor had 2 bedrooms and a futon-sofa in an open area, plus a full bath and kitchenette. The lower floor had a kitchen, living room, dining off the kitchen, laundry room, full bath, and 3 beds. Two of those bedrooms were only separated from the main bedroom by curtains, not doors. This is a good option for family members or close friends who will stay up talking or need less privacy. Each floor of the house was well set up for coffee, cooking, refrigerator, etc. Definitely a family-friendly home. It was a perfect location for the Schwarz Barn wedding venue, as well as checking out Highland. "

"The check-in process was easy as it should be. The room was clean with everything in good working order. This was a simple overnight stop but it was superb. Now, the breakfast. This is easily one of the best breakfast setups I’ve ever encountered on a road trip. There was a ton of room to move around and a lot to choose from. Also, a lot of space for people to eat. I don’t usually have high expectations for free breakfast, but this FAR exceeded expectations. If you walk away hungry, it’s your own fault. I’d definitely stay here again! "

"For the price, the hotel was perfectly fine. Some things to be aware of that were maybe just specific to the room: the fridge was noisy and couldn't be unplugged because the freezer was full of frost so it would have leaked as it melted, and the bathroom ventilation wasn't great. Otherwise the beds were clean, bathroom was clean, excellent bbq restaurant next door was walkable, good location close to highway."

"It was close to sit down restaurants and shopping. Was quiet and restful. Slept to long to enjoy breakfast. "
