"I enjoyed the summer at this very nice country cottage. The home is very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities needed for my stay. The area is safe and quiet. The farms on either side had cattle that I enjoyed watching and getting to know their habits. I made friends with some of the cows by feeding them carrots and apples every day. Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake. The host, Gary, is super friendly. We can’t wait to come back!"
