There was a water leak that flooded a portion of our room resulting in high humidity. That was out of the control of the facility. However, when I discussed the situation with the supervisor in the morning, the supervisor stated, "I am sorry, we are doing our best." There was no offer to move us to another room. There was no offer to make us more comfortable. And there was no effort to deal with the water in our room. I returned in the afternoon and spoke with another supervisor. She eventually offered us another room for the night. The second room was nice and there was no humidity. It just seemed odd that a facility that claims to be "The No 1 luxury hotel on Hilton Head Island" would not take the initiative to make things right as soon as possible and to make their customers as comfortable as possible. Other than this, our visit to HH was very nice.
