The property is clearly a recent purchase of a dilapidated residence. The floors, walls and ceilings have significant water damage. The master shower handle was not attached. There was dirt, dust and mold throughout. When reported to the owner, her response was "yeah, we're going to fix that in the off-season." None of the issues were disclosed in the listing or messages prior to checking in. We prepaid a thousand dollars for the stay!
We left after less than 12 hours (got in at 9PM, out by 9 the next morning). The owner and management company have been combative at every turn, even though the owner agreed by text to give us a refund for all unused nights and fees. I don't know what to do next other than ensure no one else goes through this or rents from Evolve Travel.
