Needs attention!

The cleanliness of the place was not to our standards or anyone else's I would imagine. Mold on a pillow case, stained rugs, roaches, nasty stain on the box springs in the bedroom upstairs, 2 beds had sand in the sheets before any of us every got it in, light bulb out in the bathroom, 3 showers clogged with hair from the stays before us, garage has cobwebs everywhere, the pool area had floats and pool items stroan all in the backyard. We had a great time and enjoyed the beach, the pool, and the house as a whole but it definitely needs attention!

90% great property, location, and management

The house is lovely, great location, well appointed, well stocked, and clean. My Fiancé & five teenager had a wonderful, memorable vacation. Two to three minute bike ride to the beach in front of the Omni. The Omni beach was never crowded and the kids would bike to Coligny were there is more action, great restaurant options, & shopping. The adults stayed at the Omni beach and went to the pool bar for lunch. The one complaint. I believe VACASA manages the property. Two months prior to our stay we confirmed that we wanted the pool heated. We only stayed for four days and I made clear we wanted to pool heated before arrival. Two days prior to our stay I texted the property management to confirm that the pool was heated. The morning of our arrival I followed up. The response was “… the temperature of the water for the duration of your stay will be 86 F.” When we arrived the pool was not heated. Initially, the call center attempted to explain their process. After making clear we expected the pool to be addressed immediately & their process was irrelevant, within ten minutes their guy showed up and explained the heater had been set to the lowest setting. Within 24 hours the pool heated up, but we lost a day of coming back from the beach to a useable pool.We would rent this house again, and in the end VACASA was responsive. I hope their management uses this review as an opportunity to address their flawed processes.
