  • This perfect Island getaway home is 5th row from a semi-private beach SEA PINES! Walk from your vacation house only 2 minute walk to the beach on a semi-private paved walkway. There are NO public parking spots, NO big resorts, so the beach is way less crowded and far more enjoyable than anywhere else on the entire island! There really is no better location to host your trip than Oyster Catcher Rd. Not only do you have prime beach property, but the entire Sea Pines Resort right in your backyard!

    The space

    Enjoy the southern charm of this oceanside Sea Pines Cottage-style home. Our 2,500-square-foot home has been updated with new furniture in September 2022. You will enjoy a direct beach path straight from the backyard! When you return from the beach to your summer house, simply rinse off at the outdoor shower & enjoy the large private gated pool, grill, hammock, and fire pit. Access to bicycle and walking trails are within 100 feet of the driveway.

This property is a gem!! Great location being so close to the beach. Also had plenty of room for my family. The pool is great addition too and the fenced area was also a bonus with our dog. The street is also very quiet. We had a great time and Caitlin was wonderful at communicating with me.

Family spring break trip

Caitlin & Rob’s place was great for our family visit to HHI; plenty of space, terrific location, and exceptional communications and responsiveness by Caitlin prior to and throughout the trip. Great stay!

Great House!

The property was perfect for our stay - clean and close to the beach. The heated pool was the perfect temp for our early March visit. We’ll definitely stay again.

The hosts are the best people. We are very experienced (decades) of vacation renters. They are so responsive to any issues. They follow up with guests. We continue to come back to their beach home.

Best ever rental in Sea Pines

Hosts are fabulous people!. They genuinely want the guests to enjoy their stay. The house was spotless. The amenities made it so easy to stay here. We hope to be back for many more visits!

Wonderful location, room to spread out

We had a lovely time at 7 Oyster Catcher. The house is close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed biking the trails, lots of beach time, and the much appreciated hot tub in November. The house is well equipped and with two living spaces, great for a family with children.

Best Family Vacation Home!!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this home! The cleanliness was superb, the proximity to the beach was outstanding, and it has everything a family could want or need! Our kids want to stay in this home again when we return to HHI! We appreciated the thoughtful details throughout from the boardgames, books and beach chairs, to the extra towels and blankets. The communication from the Host Family was exceptional and very much appreciated!

Great place to stay!

This house was perfect for our family - functional layout and very well equipped with very easy access to the beach and a private pool. We had zero complaints or problems while there, but if anything had come up I feel very confident that the owner would have responded quickly and been able to fix any issues quickly. The communication was great! Will definitely stay here again - thank you!

Annual family beach trip

We come to HHI every year and this was no exception to an exceptional time! Caitlin was so easy to work with and helpful in everyway! The house was very kid friendly (traveled with 4 and 6 year old) from the kids playroom, with books and games to the pool and beach toys! The proximity to the beach was a must have and it delivered!! All in all a great stay and wonderful host.

We survived Debby !

The house was exactly as described and the best VRBO we have used. Caitlin was very helpful and responsive as we "enjoyed" hurricane Debby. She looked out for us during the hurricane. She's a great host. I would recommend this property if it meets your needs. We would use it again.

Overall this property was great and as described. The house was clean and had all the amenities needed. the walk to the beach was only about 2 min and down a paved trail which was great! The only downsides were that that the pool was only cleaned on our first and last day and due to the amount of debris, you will end up cleaning it yourself most days. After a few days of use it was pretty cloudy and desperately needed some chemicals. The hot tub was also just same same temp as the outside temperature and not any warmer (even when turned up) which was a disappointment as we couldn't use that feature. I assume the heater was broken which should have been stated. The location is perfect and if you are looking for a clean place with easy access to the beach and a private pool then this is a good fit!

Great Spring Break Escape

Our family of 5 had a great week at this welcoming and comfortable home. Enough bedrooms to give everyone privacy and family rooms and outdoor space for fun and games. The short walk to the beach was easy and the heated pool and hot tub perfect for afterwards. The kids loved the air hockey table and assortment of games to choose from. The kitchen had everything we needed. Overall a great trip! Thanks!

A perfect vacation

7 Oyster Catcher was a wonderful house. It was the perfect size for our family of six (but could have accommodated more). The walk to the beach was shorter than expected and the pool was clean and refreshing. Having the hot tub in the closed in area was great to keep the bugs at bay. The owners were very easily reachable and quick to answer all questions asked. We would certainly return.

February Thaw

We visit Sea Pines every February for a month. We love this cottage. It has everything we need-location to the beach, golf, walking & biking and eating great food! The cottage and property are spotless. The workers who maintain it are pleasant and helpful. The owners are accessible and immediately on top of any concerns! They have thought of everything to make the house amenable to an extended stay. We appreciate their thoughtfulness in designing their cottage for adults and children of any age.

Hilton 2023

Good location and very responsive owner. House was smaller than expected. A layout showing room sizes and relative location would have been helpful and set up expectations. House however worked for us although a bit cramped. We’ll stocked necessities and everything worked.
