"There was no housekeeping services. They had covered parking. There was trash in the hallways. Breakfast was offered between 6 and 10 AM but if you came after 8:45 AM, the pancakes were hard, the eggs were stuck to the bottom of the pan, sausage was dried out, the yogurt was non existent and decaf coffee was not available."

"“Perfectly Located for Layovers and Airport Connections” Extremely convenient location if you need to spend a night in the city before a connecting flight. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A great bonus: you can call them and they’ll pick you up or drop you off at the airport."

"Absolutely poorly kept room and rude staff. Upon going into the room, we noticed the bed had large, brown stains across it and that the toilet was leaking. When asking staff at the desk if we could have another blanket since ours was stained, we were told that it was “Just a stain”. After that, someone appeared to have come in our room even with a do not disturb tag on the door, as things were moved around and the tv was off, when we left it on at a low volume. To make sure the tv’s weren’t on a timer, we muted it and left it on before going out for approximately the same amount of time, only to come back to the tv still on. The building was poorly kept all around, with dirty floors, broken items around the hotel and rooms, a stench of marijuana throughout the building and a burnt stench from the air conditioner."

"really clean room and lobby area. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but will the next stay. Parking was ok - not clear that there was additional in back, but once I figured it out, good to go. could just offer bottled water in the room - that is a nice touch for coffee in the room"

"Upon entering the room there was a gel pill on the floor so the floors were not swept. Walking on the bathroom and kitchen floors our shoes stuck so they were not cleaned either. The inside of the fridge was clean but the outside was not stuff was splattered on the doors. There was no way to use the stove. There were NO accessories in the kitchen. There was no coffee maker which was to be there and there was no coffee or grab and go breakfast in the lobby which was supposed to be provided. There were no towel or wash clothes. We had to use the kitchen rag to shower and when we stopped for more towels and a rag we were given 2 towels and a hand towel. There was only the roll of toilet paper on the dispenser provided and we ran out on the last day. The hotel is to be non smoking but clearly that was not the case because all we could smell was cigarette smoke. Last but not least, the windows would not close completely or lock. "

"Wonderful two night stay. Had breakfast twice and room service dinner once. Solid. Used the gym, which was very well appointed and empty on a Saturday afternoon. Most outstanding feature of the Strathallan is the staff. Excellent. Will definitely return."

"The Spark property is seemingly brand new and beautiful. The room was spacious, bed very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom excellent. The bathtub was larger than most, and clean. Breakfast offered choices and was very good. Location was safe with ample parking. All in all, the hotel far exceeded our expectations, especially for the modest cost."
