"A wonderfully authentic house 5 mins walk from Kenrokuen Gardens and Kanazawa Castle. It’s in a great residential area with a smattering of culturally interesting houses and temples hidden within. The house is impressively large with all the facilities you need (wash/dry washing machine, bath, shower, air con, microwave, coffee pod machine…). We really enjoyed this location and wished we could have stayed longer."

"This traditional home was a real treat. The garden was magical on a rainy morning. The host was lovely and very helpful. This is the property I will remember from our trip to Japan. The home is large enough for families (we were five adults). Steep stairs mean the young or elderly should sleep in the tatami room on the main floor."
