We had a car with us but found we hardly needed it as there is a bus stop and train station very close and the public transport takes you easily to most popular locations. "This is a lonely, fairly small hotel. We stayed in the Panorama Suite which was really spacious, impressive and comfortable with great views. This is a great hotel to be near the zell am see slope, walking distance to rental shops and the slope. The breakfast was nice, although the restaurant is quite small and it does get very busy with everyone wanting to hit the slopes in the morning. "Allowed us to check in at 1pm (4 hours early) as our room was ready. Receptionist was very nice. Our stay included a free transport pass which allowed us to use local buses for free over 2 days (for a 1 night stay). Hotel is ideally located across road from railway station. "

Very popular place to have a drink. The owner is hands on and sponsors a variety of public events like blass band and other performers outside the hotel square.
2nd floor has a massive balcony patio, library, reading room, etc. There’s also the ability to rent an ev car or bike right from hotel.
All guests I talked to enjoyed their stay and other locals in town have called it a hot spot for hanging out....
"It was a nice hotel with very friendly personnel, it was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was perfect for everybody. Great room with kitchenette, kettle, coffeemaker and microwave. And the beds were fine too.
The only downside was the fact it was along the main route (the only route actually) through the valley, so you could hear all the traffic going up and down and that made it a bit noisy.
But on the whole, we've spent some very nice days at Das Glemm Hotel in Saalbach."
