"The self check-in facility wasn't working and it took 30 minutes and phone conversations with 3 people before a very helpful lady was able to assist. Another guest spoke to us during that time to say he'd had trouble checking in 3 days earlier and had not had any wifi access at all for his stay. When we got into our room it was comfortable but finding long hairs hanging over the kitchen bench from the mezzanine floor above, 3 open sachets of coffee and sugar open in the bowl of sachets provided...

"Wir haben als Familie (von Kleinkind bis Großeltern) 4 sehr schöne Tage in der Hirschberghütte verbracht. Die Hütte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Küche ist toll und hochwertig ausgestattet, Handtücher und Bettwäsche sind vorhanden. Da wir großes Glück mit dem Wetter hatten, konnten wir auch den Grill und die Terasse mit Sitzmöbeln nutzen. Die Schlüsselübergabe klappte problemlos und die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr nett."

"Super Lage an einem Bach und die Wärme des Kachelofens war herrlich (aber Vorsicht, das ist die einzige Heizung). Balderschwang als Skigebiet direkt um die Ecke aber sicher auch im Sommer super. Check in super entspannt und das Haus selber ist fantastisch."

"We couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The views from the living room where gorgeous. The setting was very peaceful and relaxing. Was centrally located for day trips to Switzerland, Italy, Austria, and of course Southern part of Germany. My wife and I really enjoyed our time there."

"Pros- beds were comfortable, it was quiet, full kitchen was great, self check-in went smoothly. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed. All of the water ran to the end of the shower and out into the bathroom instead of to the drain. Even after a very short shower the water had flooded the bathroom almost to the door.
