The pull of the moon influences everything on earth, from ocean tides to the feeding patterns of animals. It's no wonder that we're drawn to the moon with a magnetism that stirs our imagination. The moon awakens us to that ancient connection we share with all living things. New River Retreat's Mystic Moon; with its wide open sky views, rolling green pastures and tranquil river, is the perfect place to rediscover this sacred connection that we share with nature.

Mystic Moon is located on 107 rolling acres of farm land and has access to 3000 feet of river frontage. On one half of the river front you'll find a trail through the woods that leads to a deep swimming hole - on the other side you'll find a large field with shallow waters perfect for sitting a camp chair in on hot days and letting the water flow around you (also, there is a fire pit with firewood for incredible sunsets over the river). You can even bring your kayak, put in on one end and get out on the other! Hike down to the river/trail access or drive down - whatever you prefer! This access is only shared with three other homes. You also have access to the scenic 55 mile New River Trail which cuts through the property. Wake up to incredible sunrises.

This property is pet-friendly! We love for you to bring your furry friend. To cover the cost of additional cleaning and wear on the home, we do charge $35/pet/night fee. This may not be available upon check out - please put in the notes if you plan on bringing your pet so that we can charge the card on file.
