"The pictures of the property were very appealing. Once I arrived the pictures did not do the property in my opinion justice of the surrounding canopy of trees, palm fronds and just how much of an actual retreat the property is. I throughly enjoyed the time spent and was able to decompress in the quiet and beautiful spaces that the Satilla River Cabin has available. "

"House was very clean, conviently located and fit our needs perfectly. Our daughter was married at Daughter’s Barn and we rented the house for her and her 5 bridesmaids to stay the night before and the bridesmaids to stay the night after. Literally a 2min drive which was perfect. Hosts communicated timely and were very helpful. "

"Great place to stay! Stayed while visiting relatives for Thanksgiving. Spacious, bathrooms with each bedroom. Plenty of linens and extra supplies including a great selection of Keurig coffee pods. We stopped at the Rocking Bear cafe which we really enjoyed. "

"We loved the cabin. Walked to the lake on the first day and was surprised that the walkway just ended in the weeds with no dock or cleared bank. Maybe there was another path we didn't see. Was not a big deal. We ended up spending our time in the cabin and exploring the surrounding communities. Overall great experience and would reccommend this property."

"We loved this property. There was 7 of us and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking, beds were very comfortable, and the location was very private and quiet. Shelby was very responsive and helpful when I contacted her. This was a trip to take my dad and some of his sisters (ages from 75-82) to see the Okefenokee and I think they liked the house better than the swamp. They stayed up until midnight playing Pac-Man.
