"False represented themselves as a spa in which they are not all in any capacity are or can be classed as. Upon arrival to the property I asked what time does the poor and spa open and the guy behind neural reception said to me we do not have a spa or a pool I don't understand. I have just recently been diagnosed with a shoemart in January my partner of recent had moved back from Portsmouth to RM12 at his parents due to his dad being diagnosed with dementia we have not seen each other for over three months I have two days off and my little girl was away with my dad so I booked this place to have two days relaxed as a spa and to spend time with him and it was somewhere within the location that was close to his dad and mum's home due to his dementia's condition. I traveled there and paid over 220 pound to find out the fact that they falsely represented themselves as a spa in which they do not have any no never have had those amenities or are spa never have been."

"Fabulous hotel & I was pleasantly surprised on all counts. Great location for what we needed, stayed 3 nights while searching for a flat for my daughter who is relocating. From the super helpful ladies on the hotel reception to the top floor restaurant and bar for breakfast and dinner, again fantastic service & very friendly staff. Our room was lovely, very clean, all amenities you need, great size & view overlooking the airport. Perfect stay! Highly recommended… We’ll definitely be back when visiting the area again. Thanks "

"The hot tub was warm enough, but the pool with the jets on the side. When they are activated the chlorine was very strong and made our eyes sting. "

"Best Western Thurrock Hotel is a good hotel if you need a place to stay and relatively cheap. It’s in a good location for Lakeside shopping centre, the M25 and the dartford bridge. The entrance to the hotel itself needs refreshing as the road is damaged with slight potholes so if visiting make sure to go slowly. Once on the grounds of the hotel there was good amount of parking and wheelchair friendly walkway to get into the hotel with a ramp. The reception on arrival is lovely and very welcoming, the hotel itself is very large and has a lot of bedrooms and suites as they host weddings. Short walk upstairs to the rooms, no lift so be aware when booking if you cannot do stairs. The rooms themselves need a really good renovation, they are very outdated, but a good large size. The first room (121) we checked into was horrible. The pipes for the taps were very loud and the smell from the drains were potent. We spoke to reception and they moved us with ease and they were fantastic about that, finding another room quickly and letting us view it first before choosing due to the past room being bad. The second room we checked into was great, minus the outdated carpet and VERY squeaky floorboards which definitely need to be looked at. The bathroom at a good size and renovated well with no bad smells or stains. The bed was comfy and it was a lovely night to sleep. Would stay again but this hotel definitely needs upgrading :) "
