"Neat hotel that offered a traditional style with modern amenities and check in process. The space was great and offered a good separation for our son to have his own bed. The bath was so nice and welcome after a day of walking and sight seeing. The playground in the neighborhood was perfect and we enjoyed dining close by. The walkable distance to the station was great and check in worked fine at the other hotel, they held our bags as we were early. Never figured out the wifi but didn't ask...
"Excellent all round. The staff were amazing from start to finish, very good English as well with made our stay as foreigners easier. Shuttle bus to and from Kanazawa train station made arrival and departure hassle free. Breakfast offered a large range of options of both Japanese and continental food. Perfection."
"Fantastic experience staying here. Had the breakfast one day which was a nice traditional Japanese style breakfast and quite good, but keep in mind the fish market is right across the street. This location was perfect for us, easily walkable to most of the attractions Kanazawa had to offer. The public baths were overall pleasant, although my wife had the unfortunate experience that a woman brought her 6-8 year old son into the women’s bath and felt uncomfortable with that. The beds were huge and...
"Location, location, location! The property is located near all tourist locations. 25-30min walk from train station. 5-10 min from castle, gardens and samurai district. There is a beautiful shrine across the street. You’re also less than 5 min walk from the Omicho fish market. The staff were attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend it."
"Staff is incredible, very welcoming and accommodating! The property is immaculately clean and beautiful. Every single detail was though of and there were so many goodies to make the stay even better. The location is easily walkable and extremely quiet at night. This is in my top 5 hotels I’ve ever stayed in ever and I do travel international and in the United States often. Highly recommend! "
