We were charged $35 a day for parking in addition to the resort fees and taxes. This basically made the total cost close to twice the amount quoted for the room. The overall facility was nice. The shower in our room however, flooded the floor each time it was used.

Housekeeping services extremely limited to simply give your fresh towels if requested. No floor, counter, toilet cleaning during your stay

We thoroughly enjoyed the walking paths and nature throughout this property. We were unable to choose our building (we also booked through Expedia so not sure if this was why). Our room location was near a pool which was very loud consisting of yelling and shouting close to midnight nearly each night of our stay. Informed that quiet hours start at 11pm. Our room was dusty and looked to have a small amount of mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. We disliked that immediately after checkin we were brought to hospitality staff that pressured us to take a 90 minute timeshare tour and told us we could not talk about this as a married couple before giving her a decision. This felt very distasteful to the start of our stay. Sunset Island was one of our favorite relaxation places. Would have enhanced the experience if there were restrooms and a bar/drink/food availability (this may be a work in progress but unsure of this). Overall we are satisfied with our stay and may return another time with more of our family as the selling point for us was the nature aspect and being between all of the parks..
