There’s a hot tub with natural hot water which is great after a long drive. The cottage is comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. Good communication from the host and beautifully situated in nature. I appreciated the guestbook in the cottage as well.

Comfortable room within walking to harbor and multiple restaurants. Nice kitchen and outdoor table and chairs added nice option on the sunny arrival. BEST COFFEE machine in a week. Also fair value given quality.

Exceeded our expectations. Stayed in the studio apartment on the first floor. It was spacious, clean, and very well appointed. The kitchen had high-end appliances and everything worked. Comfortable bed and functional bathroom. We can easily say, it was the best guest house experience we had in Iceland. Parking was readily available in the back side of the building. The rate compared very favorably against other Icelandic lodging options in the area. Highly recommend to fellow travelers.

Overall great stay!

We were a large family group and had the all the main and upper rooms. It was perfect for us! Very clean, and bathrooms and kitchen were modern and well-equiped. Good restaurants and grocery nearby and plenty of parking.

Great sized room for 4 people. Nice kitchen area, and located right next to the docks. The restaurant down the street has amazing lobster rolls. It’s basically an extra large hotel room with a kitchen area

We had a great stay here! The location was great and the space was modern, clean, and overall lovely. The host was very accomodating with our late check-in, as our day included lots of driving and we didn't specifically know our timing as we wanted to make sure we didn't miss anything along our route. :) Weould recommend!

Lovely little guesthouse, only concern was the size of the bedrooms, they are very small. We were only staying one night so it was okay but if staying longer you might want a bit more room. Restaurants right across the street so very convenient.

The room was bright, airy and clean. It was next to a Main Street but there was no traffic at night. We had a nice little patio for coffee and a view of the harbor. Lots of little extra’s in the room made us feel at home. We wanted to stay another night. We loved the coffee machine!

Good location, close to restaurant and walking distance to the port. Clean and comfy! My kids like the cereal and cookie provided in the room. Very thoughtful idea. Easy to check in and out. Only thing is that the parking lot is not enough and we have to park and other people park behind us, block our way completely. Overall a nice place to stay and will recommend.

The location was wonderful, and the property was very nice. The second floor room was difficult to get to for older people, hard for luggage. If I had known it was second floor, I would have booked elsewhere. The common area was cramped with eight people eating at the same time. I definitely would book again, if I could select a first floor room.

Great spot right at the Hofn harbor

You’d be lucky to snag the studio apartment while in Hofn. It’s nicer than the photos — spacious, modern and clean. The kitchen is stocked with cookies, tea and instant coffee. The shower water pressure is adequate but not strong. The only negatives were the bed pillows are too thick and the porch light is on all night with light coming around the blackout shades.
