"This is heavens found for raw seafood lover and onsen enthusiasts. The hotel's arrangement made with the Asaichi (Morning Market) for breakfast is incredible! You can decide from 60 seafood specialties from the in room menu then exchange your purchased breakfast ticket at the affiliated vendor. Tokyu's reputation and clout allowed them to get you great breakfast values, introducing you to the vendor's specialties. Absolutely the best Asaichi experience possible. Their 18th floor Onsen has one of the best night view of Hakodate, second only to the Hakodate tower. And you can enjoy it while soaking naked in open air mineral spring splendor. It is a once in a lifetime experience that is available to you at your leisure during your stay. Their 17th floor lounge not only offers killer view of Hakodate marina and coastlines (and almost all the major tourist attraction) but is also family friendly offering famous local Hokkaido ice cream for the non-drinkers alongside fine familiar alcoholic libations. Unlike most chain establishment, there is no attempt to "milk the guest for the killer views". Room sizes are standard Japanese (small!) but it is designed for travellers comfort down to every details. including your own ensuite laundry! Staff members are some of the nicest and most helpful Japanese I have ever met. Their location walkable 5 minutes from the JR station also make coming and leaving totally stress.free. No doubt that we will return to Hakodate to stay at Tokyu!"
